South Dakota State University Athletics is pleased to announce the introduction of Family Fun Nights in conjunction with upcoming home Jackrabbit basketball games.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide this opportunity for families throughout Brookings and the surrounding communities,” said SDSU athletic director Justin Sell. “We look forward to providing a great setting for affordable family entertainment this winter at Frost Arena.”

For $40, families can receive four general admision tickets, four sodas, four bags of popcorn and a game program to select Jackrabbit basketball games, representing a savings of $15 for single games and $23 for doubleheaders. The ticket offer also includes a coupon good for 10 percent off a purchase at the University Bookstore’s arena souvenir shop.

Families also will have the opportunity to take their picture with All-America mascot Jack Rabbit prior to each designated contest. Following is the schedule for Family Fun Nights:

• Thursday, Jan. 21 — Men’s Basketball vs. IPFW, 7 p.m.
• Monday, Jan. 25 — Women’s Basketball vs. IPFW, 7 p.m.
• Thursday, Feb. 4 — Men’s Basketball vs. Southern Utah, 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Feb. 6 — Men’s and Women’s Doubleheader vs. UMKC, 5/7:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Feb. 25 — Men’s Basketball vs. Western Illinois, 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Feb. 27 — Men’s and Women’s Doubleheader vs. IUPUI, 5/7:30 p.m.
• Monday, March 1 — Women’s Basketball vs. Western Illinois, 7 p.m.
