Midcontinent, Mediacom to air three Jackrabbit games
South Dakota State University Athletics has reached an agreement with Midcontinent Communications to provide live television coverage of three home Jackrabbit basketball games.
Games scheduled to air include the Feb. 13 Summit League doubleheader against North Dakota State and the Feb. 15 women’s matchup versus the University of South Dakota. Coverage for the SDSU-NDSU doubleheader is slated for 5 p.m. Central Time, with the women’s game tipping off at 5:05 p.m. and the men’s game starting at 7:30 p.m.
The SDSU-USD?women’s game will have coverage start at 7 p.m., with tipoff at 7:05 p.m.
Play-by-play duties will be handled by veteran sportscaster Tom Nieman, with Al Bahe providing color commentary. Tyler Merriam, the voice of Jackrabbit women’s basketball, will provide sideline reporting for the broadcasts.
All three games will be televised live on Midcontinent (Ch. 23 in most areas) and Mediacom (Ch. 10) cable systems throughout the Upper Midwest. The SDSU-NDSU women’s game will be carried on Digital Channel 322 in North Dakota.
